Extend Your Internet 150 Feet Away – Simple Setup for Workshop WiFi

No Reliable WiFi in the Workshop

Distance Weakens WiFi Signals
The workshop, 150 feet away from the house, was out of range for traditional WiFi signals. Using repeaters or extenders didn’t cut it, as the signal dropped off significantly before reaching the workshop. A more robust solution was required.

No Desire for Complicated Solutions
The user wanted an installation that was quick and simple. Running Ethernet cables across the yard wasn’t practical, and they didn’t want to deal with complex networking setups that required professional assistance.

High-Speed Internet Needed
Streaming 4K videos and connecting multiple devices required a fast and stable connection that typical WiFi extenders or makeshift solutions couldn’t deliver.

The Solution: Wireless Point-to-Point Bridge

Straightforward Installation
The user chose a wireless point-to-point (PTP) bridge, which came with everything needed for installation. They placed the Master (transmitting) unit in the house and the Slave (receiving) unit in the workshop. Setting up was as simple as positioning the devices to face each other.

Plug-and-Play Simplicity
Once the PTP units were positioned, the user connected the Ethernet cable from the internet source to the LAN side of the power injector for the Master unit. Then, they connected the PoE side to the Master device. On the workshop side, they repeated the process with the Slave device and connected it to a router or access point. No need to access the GUI for the initial setup—everything worked right out of the box.

Immediate Results
Within minutes, the user had a strong, stable connection in the workshop. They were able to stream 4K videos without any lag, proving the effectiveness of the wireless bridge.

Reliable Internet Without the Hassle

No Need for GUI Access
Many users worry about the technical complexity of setting up networking devices. With this wireless bridge, there was no need to access the GUI during the initial setup. The system worked seamlessly on the default settings, allowing optimization and password changes later, if desired.

Strong and Consistent Signal
Even at 150 feet, the wireless bridge provided a strong signal that was perfect for streaming high-quality content and running smart devices. The user didn’t experience any interruptions.

Affordable and Easy-to-Use Solution
Compared to other options like trenching cables or upgrading existing WiFi infrastructure, the wireless bridge was a cost-effective and user-friendly choice.

If you’re struggling to get internet to a remote building like a workshop, garage, or shed, a wireless point-to-point bridge might be the perfect solution. As this customer discovered, the setup was straightforward, the results were outstanding. With a few simple steps, you can extend your network and enjoy high-speed internet wherever you need it. Say goodbye to weak signals and hello to seamless connectivity!
